Yesterday, Pussy Cat Doll and Hollywood Bowl Rent star Nicole Scherzinger took in a performance of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES on Broadway. BroadwayWorld was exclusively invited backstage following the performance to snap Nicole with le Cagelles.

Due to popular demand, Tony, Grammy & Golden Globe Award winner Bernadette Peters and Tony & Emmy Award winner Elaine Stritch have extended their stay in the Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's Tony Award-winning masterpiece A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, directed by Tony Award-winner Trevor Nunn. Peters & Stritch were originally only scheduled to perform through Sunday, November 7, 2010 and will now stay with the production through its final performance at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 3:00 PM after 20 previews and 425 regular performances.

PS CLASSICS, the label dedicated to the heritage of Broadway and American popular song, will release the New Broadway Cast Recording for the 2010 Tony Award-winning production of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES tomorrow, Tuesday, September 28.

BroadwayWorld has learned that Stephen R. Buntrock will take over for Alexander Hanson in the role of Frederick Egerman in the Broadway revival of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC on September 28, 2010. Hanson will take his final bow on September 26, 2010.

Kelsey Grammer, Tony Award nominee for LA CAGE AUX FOLLES and this year's host of the annual 'Broadway on Broadway' concert on Sunday, September 12, will guest on 'The Wendy Williams Show,' Thursday, September 9. On August 29, Aaron Lazar will play his last performance as Count Carl-Magnus Malcolm in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC. Lazar's previous credits include LES MISERABLES, A TALE OF TWO CITIES, and THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Bradley Dean (Spamalot, Company, The Story of My Life, Man of La Mancha) will replace Aaron Lazar as Count Carl-Magnus Malcolm in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC on August 31, 2010. Dean has understudied Lazar throughout the production in addition to playing the role of servant Frid. Lazar will play his last performance on August 29. Stephen R. Buntrock, who has played Mr. Lindquist since the show's opening will step into the role of Frid, while Ben Davis will join the company as the new Mr. Lindquist.

Hodge and five-time Emmy Award-winner Kelsey Grammer will keep their love alive as Albin and Georges in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES until February 13, 2011, when both actors will depart the production.
