Mark Setlock Stars in Vineyard Theatre's FULLY COMMITTED Reading, 11/12

The Vineyard Theatre will present a one-night-only reading of Becky Mode's acclaimed play FULLY COMMITTED - with Mark Setlock returning to his performance - this coming Monday, November 12, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at The Vineyard (108 E. 15 St., between Irving Place and Union Square East). FULLY COMMITTED is the first in a series of special celebrations during the Vineyard's 30th Anniversary Season, and the reading will benefit The Vineyard's productions and programs in 2012-2013.

Vanessa Williams, Dawnn Lewis, David St. Louis & More Star in Pasadena Playhouse's INTIMATE APPAREL, Opening Tonight

The Pasadena Playhouse previously announced the full casting and creative team for INTIMATE APPAREL. Single tickets are also now on sale. Written by Lynn Nottage (Pulitzer Prize-winner, Ruined) and directed by The Playhouse's Sheldon Epps, performances will begin tonight, November 6 through December 2, with an official press opening on Sunday, November 11, 2012, at 5:00 p.m. at The Pasadena Playhouse.

Playwrights Horizons' THE WHALE, Starring Cassie Beck, Shuler Hensley and More, Opens Tonight, 11/5

Playwrights Horizons' production THE WHALE, the New York premiere of a new play by Obie Award winner Samuel D. Hunter (A Bright New Boise), is directed by Davis McCallum (February House, A Bright New Boise, the upcoming Water By the Spoonful at Second Stage) and opens tonight, November 5 at 7PM at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street).

Due to the impact of Hurricane Sandy, the Dramatists Guild of America is cancelling their 2012 Awards Night on Monday, November 5 at The Players Club. The Dramatists Guild will reschedule the Awards Night to a later date, which will be announced in the coming weeks. The Guild's thoughts and well wishes are with everyone affected by the storm and they are most appreciative of your understanding during this difficult time..

Vineyard Theatre (Douglas Aibel, Artistic Director and Sarah Stern, Co-Artistic Director) proudly announces a one-night-only reading of Becky Mode's acclaimed play FULLY COMMITTED - with Mark Setlock returning to his "sparkling tour de force" (NY Post) performance - which will benefit The Vineyard's productions and programs in 2012-2013. FULLY COMMITTED, the first in a series of special celebrations during the Vineyard's 30th Anniversary Season, will take place on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at The Vineyard (108 E. 15 St., between Irving Place and Union Square East). MARCH MADNESS Performances Resume Tonight, 11/1, at Abingdon

Abingdon Theatre Company is pleased to announce that performances have resumed for its world premiere of MARCH MADNESS by Mike Vogel, with previews returning as of 7pm on Thursday, November 1, at the Abingdon Theatre Company's Dorothy Strelsin Theatre (312 West 36th Street). Donald Brenner (DECEMBER FOOLS) directs the production which is set to open Sunday, November 4.

2012 Steinberg Playwright 'Mimi' Awards Honoring David Henry Hwang Postponed

Previously scheduled for this coming Monday, October 29, 2012 at 7:30 p.m., the 2012 Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust's presentation of the Steinberg Distinguished Playwright Award to David Henry Hwang at the Lincoln Center Theater has been postponed to a later date due to expected weather conditions. The new date and further details will be announced shortly.

The Dramatists Guild of America has just announced the recipients of their annual awards, which will be presented at an awards ceremony hosted by Lisa Kron on Monday, November 5, 2012, at the Players Club in New York. Performers include Amanda Green, Mary Testa, and Kenita Miller.

Grace Gummer, Corey Stoll, and Treat Williams join Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress, Ellen Barkin, in The Parisian Woman. Commissioned by The Flea Theater, Beau Willimon has adapted Henry Becque's La Parisienne, now set in contemporary Washington D.C. To what lengths will a woman go to advance the political career of her husband? The Parisian Woman tears the veil off adultery in this modern retelling of the scandalous affairs of a bored and intelligent wife left to her own devices. Directed by Joel Schumacher.

Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) Broadway production of The Mystery of Edwin Drood begins previews tonight, Friday, October 19th at 8:00PM.
