Today, October 30th will see the release of ROADS, the highly anticipated debut album from classical crossover artist CHRIS MANN. ROADS arrives via Faircraft/Universal Republic, a new imprint headed up by multi-platinum producer and veteran A&R executive Ron Fair (Mary J. Blige, the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, The Pussycat Dolls, Il Volo, Christina Aguilera), who also served as the album's executive producer.

Grammy-nominated artist Richard Marx will headline The Annenberg Theatre, located at The Palm Springs Museum Of Arts, for one performance on November 14 at 8:00 pm. For over 20 years, Richard Marx has consistently and powerfully made his mark on the music industry. His debut single, "Don't Mean Nothing" and self-titled debut album kicked off his career as a solo artist in 1987 and went on to sell 3 million copies. His 1989 follow-up CD, "Repeat Offender," became even more successful, selling over 7 million copies worldwide. From 1987 to 1990, he became the first male solo artist in history to have his first 7 singles reach the top 5 on Billboard's singles chart, including the 1 hits "Hold On to the Nights," "Satisfied" and the worldwide classic, "Right Here Waiting." This feat remains unchallenged.

Darlene Love Suffers Heart Attack Before NJ Performance

According to published reports, Broadway veteran Darlene Love suffered a heart attack last weekend before a performance at Tim McLoone's in Asbury Park, New Jersey. After experiencing stomach pains, the singer took asprin to make it through her performance. It wasn't until the following day when she was taken to the hospital that she learned that she had a heart attack. Love is currently recovering.
