 Broadway dancer, choreographer and international director Luis Salgado has signed in as co-choreographer of Dirty Dancing next to Andy Blankenbuehler, it was announced today.

Joseph Macchia, producer of the award-winning fundraising series, Cabaret Cares, just presented an event for Help Is On The Way Today. Broadway dynamo, Doreen Montalvo, hosted the cast of the Broadway smash, On Your Feet! - the new Broadway musical about Gloria and Emilio Estefan, playing at The Marquis. Gloria Estefan has sold over 100 million records and sold out stadiums around the world, they're about to sell some more. BroadwayWorld has just confirmed that the cast on ON YOUR FEET! will record a live album today. It was an epic night at Broadway Sessions Thursday, February 11th, as cast members from School of Rock descended from the top of Mt. Rock (aka The Winter Garden Theater) and invaded the Laurie Beechman Theater. The kids in the band, and some adults, wielded their instruments like light sabers, slaying tune after tune.

? Producers James L. Nederlander, Estefan Enterprises, Inc and Bernie Yuman have announced the launch of an online ticket lottery, powered by Broadway Direct, for ON YOUR FEET!, the new hit musical based on the lives and music of Emilio & Gloria Estefan. Launching tomorrow, Tuesday, December 15, the lottery will open at 9:00AM each day for entries to win a limited number of $40 same-day tickets to that evening's performance at www.onyourfeetmusical.com/tickets, and will remain open until 2:00PM when winners are drawn. Winners, notified by email immediately upon the 2:00PM drawing, will have 60 minutes to claim their tickets by paying with credit card, and can pick up the tickets at the Marquis Theatre Box Office (46th Street between Broadway & 8th Avenue) 30 minutes prior to showtime. Photo ID is required for pickup, seat locations and number of tickets awarded by the lottery are subject to availability.

Musical Theater and Jazz Superstar Florencia Cuenca will bring her show The New Standards to the internationally acclaimed jazz cabaret The Metropolitan Room. The show is arranged and directed by musical theater composer, Jaime Lozano.

The 3rd annual R.Evolucion Latina - Dance-A-Thon raised $26,250 after 6 weeks of fundraising. The culmination of the online fundraising campaign took place on October 24th where artists, RL campers and supporters came together to celebrate for 5 hours of energized dancing.
