This Winter, Amore Opera revives its classic production of Puccini's timeless masterpiece La Boheme. This production launched the company's inaugural season, and its revival promises to be equally riveting. La Boheme is an opera in four acts, with libretto by Luigi Illica. Based on Scenes de la Vie de Boheme by Henri Murger, it is the story of a group of young bohemians living in the Latin Quarter of Paris in the 1840's, and the tragic tale of two lovers doomed by circumstance and illness. La Boheme is fully staged with full orchestra and presented in its original Italian (with subtitles).
