This holiday season, Village Theatre is set to produce an all-new musical production of Anne of Green Gables, based on Lucy Maud Montgomery's treasured, best-selling novel of the same title. This production will close January 2, 2011 in downtown Issaquah at the Francis J. Gaudette Theatre , and play January 7-30, 2011 in downtown Everett, at the Everett Performing Arts Center

Village Theatre is presenting a new musical production of the classic Lucy Maud Montgomery novel, "Anne of Green Gables". This new production stemmed from a prior workshop of the show featured in Village Original's Festival of New Musicals from 2009. And the full staging of this show only leads me to the question, "Why?"

Anne of Green Gables - The Musical plays its first show in Toronto tonight at 7:30PM. To gear up for its Toronto run, the producers ran two very special literacy events in the Toronto Area. She's appeared on Broadway in Forum, Les Miserables, Good Vibrations and Little Shop of Horrors, starring alongside a wide range of performers from Colm Wilkinson, to Nathan Lane, Whoopi Goldberg and Joey Fatone. In the Summer of 2005 though, Jessica-Snow Wilson is playing to smaller audiences, having just finished in the Fringe Festival, and next up - NERDS in NYMF.
