Anne of Green Gables - The Musical plays its first show in Toronto tonight at 7:30PM. To gear up for its Toronto run, the producers ran two very special literacy events in the Toronto Area. These great events got people familiar with both the classic book and the upcoming musical, and were great family fun!
Anne of Green Gables, Canada's longest running musical, is coming to the Elgin Theatre as part of DanCap's season starting May 7th. As part of this event, DanCap is helping to promote literacy with two very special events in the Toronto area to support the musical as well as the classic Lucy Maud Montgomery book, Anne of Green Gables.
She's appeared on Broadway in Forum, Les Miserables, Good Vibrations and Little Shop of Horrors, starring alongside a wide range of performers from Colm Wilkinson, to Nathan Lane, Whoopi Goldberg and Joey Fatone. In the Summer of 2005 though, Jessica-Snow Wilson is playing to smaller audiences, having just finished in the Fringe Festival, and next up - NERDS in NYMF.
