Cast and crew members from "Little House on the Prairie: The Musical," will help build a Habitat for Humanity house as part of a national partnership with Habitat for Humanity International. Steve Blanchard, who plays Pa, as well as other cast and crew members will pitch in at the build site tomorrow, 9/30. Mayor Cory Booker has confirmed that he will also attend the event to show his support for affordable housing.

Sergio Trujillo, the acclaimed choreographer of Jersey Boys, Next to Normal and the forthcoming musicals The Addams Family and Memphis, will make his directorial debut with Havana, a new musical (not based on the film of the same name) with a book by Pulitzer Prize-winning Cuban author Nilo Cruz, music by internationally-renowned Frank Wildhorn and lyrics by Jack Murphy. Produced by Kathleen Raitt, William Franzblau/Jay Harris, Ben Sprecher/Louise Forlenza and Steven E. Leber/Jordan Leber, Havana, which is aiming for the 2010-11 Broadway season, will have a private industry presentation this week in New York.
Ms. Gilbert's new book Prairie Tale: A Memoir by Simon & Schuster was released this week and the acclaimed actress had a book sigining at the Time Warner Center Borders on Wednesday June 10th.
Tony Award winner Christopher Hampton, currently represented on Broadway with his translation of the acclaimed, Tony Award-nominated God of Carnage and the revival of his play The Philanthropist, has joined the creative team of the new musical REBECCA, currently in development.
