The 2022 Pittance Chamber Music SEASON VIII continues with the return to live concerts with a previously postponed program due to the pandemic, Liebeslieder!, now taking place on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church Pasadena featuring the extraordinary resident artists from the LA Opera.

The Broad Stage will present Global superstar and Metropolitan Opera favorite Diana Damrau, returning alongside famed bass Nicolas Testé for a fun and lively program of opera, operetta, lieder, and songs on Sunday, April 24 at 7:30p.

Nathan R. Matthews is producing and performing in a concert for The Riverside Opera Ensemble at Merkin Hall at the Kaufman Music Center on May 16th. Tony nominee Christiane Noll (Ragtime) and Grammy winner Edward Parks (The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs) will headline the concert of new music by Dreamworks composer Drew Fornarola and Matthews himself.

It was just announced that American baritone Lucas Meachem will step in to make his role and house debut as Baron Scarpia in Teatro Di San Carlo's production of Tosca from April 20 - May 3, 2022.

The VOICExperience Foundation, a Sherrill Milnes VOICE Program, has announced the 2022 VOICE Gala: Celebrating the American Voice, slated for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. This virtual event will honor the 2022 Sherrill Milnes VOICE Awardee, mezzo Frederica von Stade, and celebrate the Savannah VOICE Festival’s 10-year anniversary.

 General Director Ken McConnell and Artistic Director Tobias Picker today announced Tulsa Opera’s 75th anniversary season, which opens October 28 & 30 with the company premiere of Rossini’s The Italian Girl (L’italiana in Algeri).

MUSE/IQUE continues its adventurous yearlong concert series, L.A. The new season of the Schwabacher Recital Series, presented by San Francisco Opera Center and Merola Opera Program, continues on Wednesday, April 6 and Wednesday, April 27 at San Francisco's Dianne and Tad Taube Atrium Theater. Featuring recent and current San Francisco Opera Adler Fellows and Merola Opera Program alumni, the programs showcase emerging young artists from around the globe in the intimacy of a recital setting.

San Diego Opera's 2021 2022 will close with the West Coast Premiere of Aging Magician a hybrid opera/theatre piece that combines singing, choral work, puppetry, and performance art to create an incredibly unique theatrical experience.

This April, the English National Opera's (ENO) Artistic Director Annilese Miskimmon will make her company directorial debut with a powerful new production of Poul Ruders' The Handmaid's Tale. Based on Margaret Atwood's seminal novel, this outstandingly relevant work was last staged at the London Coliseum in 2003 when it received its first English language debut. 

The Fisher Center at Bard will present a project that exemplifies its place on the cultural landscape: a new dance setting of the biblical Song of Songs created by the Fisher Center’s internationally celebrated choreographer-in-residence, Pam Tanowitz, with new music from Pulitzer Prize-winning composer David Lang.

McCarter continues the season with a jam-packed lineup of music, theater, dance, and family programming.

The Center for Fiction and Theatre Communications Group will co-present Sarah Ruhl and Matthew Aucoin in Conversation on March 16 at 7pm ET at The Center for Fiction, 15 Lafayette Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217, and via livestream.

The BERKSHIRE OPERA FESTIVAL has announced its 2022 season in Great Barrington and Pittsfield, MA, and for the first time in Chatham, NY. The only company of its kind in the region, BOF produces opera at the highest level under the vision of esteemed co-founders Brian Garman (Artistic Director) and Jonathon Loy (Director of Production).

The Atlanta Opera has announced a new season of large-scale performances at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre for 2022-23 with a spirit of positivity and optimism for the future.
