Marin Theatre Company To Present The World Premiere Of GEORGIANA AND KITTY: CHRISTMAS AT PEMBERLEY

Marin Theatre Company rings in the holiday season with the world premiere of Georgiana and Kitty: Christmas at Pemberley. Penned by MTC Mellon National Playwright in Residence Lauren M. Gunderson and former Director of New Play Development Margot Melcon, the final installment of the Christmas at Pemberley trilogy follows Mr. Darcy's younger sister, Georgiana—an accomplished pianist—and the youngest Bennet sister, Kitty.

Magic Theatre (Loretta Greco, Artistic Director and Jaimie Mayer, Managing Director) announced today the complete cast of Barbara Hammond's World Premiere The Eva Trilogy. Previews begin on Thursday, October 19 at Magic Theatre's Fort Mason location, with a press opening on Saturday, October 28. The production is helmed by Magic's Artistic Director Loretta Greco. American Conservatory Theater Now Accepting Applications for Fall 2017 San Francisco Semester

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) announced today that applications for the fall 2017 San Francisco Semester (SFS) are now being accepted. The study-away program brings undergraduate students, recent college graduates, and international students into an active, ongoing engagement with the eclectic and energetic arts community of San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area. Grounded in a rich academic curriculum, the San Francisco Semester focuses on the practical aspects of the craft of acting and life in the professional theater. The 15-week program features a 17-credit core curriculum enhancing students' study with rigorous, upper-level classes in acting styles, voice/dialects, physical theater, and devised (student-created) work. California Shakespeare Theater opens its 2015 season with Shakespeare's comic masterpiece, Twelfth Night, directed by Christopher Liam Moore. Twelfth Night plays at the Bruns Amphitheater from tonight, May 27 through June 21.

Berkely Rep Offers Summer Classes for All Ages

Classes at the Tony Award-winning Berkeley Repertory Theatre's School of Theatre begin on July 6, and the summer session includes 12 classes for adults, three classes for students in elementary school, and a theatre intensive for teens. The first session, for students entering grades 6-8, takes place on weekdays from June 21 through July 16. The second session, for teens in grades 9-12, is held July 19 through August 13.
