The world-renowned Martha Graham Dance Company, celebrating its 97th season this year, will host its Spring 2023 Gala on Thursday, April 20, at 7pm.

At an audition held on October 17, Adam Robert Dickerson and Shawn Lesniak were selected by Artistic Director Michael Novak to join the world-renowned Paul Taylor Dance Company. Quinton Guthier was chosen to join the acclaimed Taylor 2.

The Hartt School welcomes two internationally acclaimed dance companies to its program this spring, Netherlands Dance Theater 2 (NDT2) and Paul Taylor 2 (T2DC). Both of these companies are renowned not only for their association with their famous main companies but also as stellar performing entities in their own right, populated by extraordinary young artists working with top-ranking choreographers. Both of the companies sought out the Hartt Dance program to initiate these projects because of its reputation for excellence and its forward looking approach to classical techniques in both Ballet, Modern, and Contemporary dance.

Sloan Pearson has been selected by Paul Taylor to join the world-renowned Paul Taylor 2 Dance Company.

Known for its “powerfully engaging” (New York Arts) choreography, Ariel Rivka Dance reflects on 10 seasons of provocative modern dance with a pair of career-spanning programs to be performed at New York Live Arts from September 6-9, 2017.

In a compressed 2-week period, THE YARD presents two distinctive, critically acclaimed views - through dance-making of a potent American landscape: Taylor in his lifelong survey of popular cultural sources, Brown in her ongoing deep dive into the complex social reality of black identities of both men, women and girls that reaffirms that 'black dance matters" in depicting lives at risk in a dangerous political environment.

On Monday, April 18, the Martha Graham Dance Company celebrated its 90th anniversary with a special Gala performance at New York City Center followed by dinner and dancing for 250 guests at a private venue in Manhattan.

Paul Taylor 2, the junior ensemble of the legendary choreographer, will present 3 genre-defining dance works in the intimate theatre at Dixon Place. On April 23rd at 7:30pm, Paul Taylor 2 Does Dixon Place will mark the first benefit in Dixon Place's history that will specifically support its dance programming.

On Friday and Saturday, January 22nd and 23rd, Paul Taylor's Taylor 2 Company will present 3 pieces from the choreographer's repertoire: "Cascade" first presented in 1999, "Runes" which premiered in 1975 and "Company B" which was originally staged in 1991.

Fribourg, Chairman and CEO of Continental Grain Company, serving as Business Committee Chairman, and Diane Volk as Master of Ceremonies.
