Veteran television comedienne Sally Struthers is working overtime to bring much needed laughs to an otherwise hit or miss production of Dolly Parton's '9 to 5: The Musical' at Ogunquit Playhouse in Maine

The award-winning North Shore Theatre (NSMT) is pleased to welcome Broadway star Dee Hoty to the cast of 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL. Due to a severe back injury (annular tear of the L5 disc), the previously announced Lucie Arnaz will be unable to play the role of Violet in 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL scheduled to open Tuesday, September 25, and play through Sunday, October 7. Press night is scheduled for September 26 at 7:30pm.

The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center announces a special, one-night-only performance of Larry Blum's enthralling solo show, Blink & You Might Miss Me, directed by Stan Zimmerman, at the Center's Village at Ed Gould Plaza in Hollywood. Gay & Lesbian Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center presents Valarie Pettiford (Tony-nominated star of Fosse, the feature film Jumping the Broom, ABC Family's Bunheads, HBO's Treme), who is releasing her second solo album, Velvet Sky, a collection of original lullabies this fall.To celebrate the release of her new album, Pettiford is performing a rare, one-night-only concert on Sunday, September 16, at the Center's beautiful Renberg Theatre. Her last solo concert in Los Angeles was in 2010.
