THE COMMON AIR, written by Lyras and McCaskill, has been extended through February 26th. The comedy, directed by Mr. McCaskill, features Alex Lyras portraying 6 diverse characters caught in an airport delay.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) is pleased to announce Terrence McNally's comedy Lips Together, Teeth Apart will star Megan Mullally (Chloe Haddock), Patton Oswalt (Sam Truman) and an additional cast member to be announced shortly.

Two-time Tony Award-winner Brian Dennehy has thrilled Chicago audiences in unforgettable productions over the past two decades—Desire Under the Elms, Long Day's Journey into Night, The Iceman Cometh and Death of a Salesman; now, his portrayal of contrasting roles in the double-bill of Hughie by Eugene O'Neill and Krapp's Last Tape by Samuel Beckett is 'sheer theatrical dynamite' (Toronto Star).

The comedy, with an original score and sound design composed by Ken Rich, opens FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6th at 8 PM at 45 Bleecker Street Theatre and plays every Friday at 8 pm through December 18th (with an additional performance on Wednesday, December 30 at 8 PM).

John Kander -- the renowned, Tony Award-winning composer of such beloved musicals as CHICAGO, CABARET, KISS OF THE SPIDERWOMAN and many others -- will be honored by Vineyard Theatre at the company's annual Gala on Monday, March 8th beginning at 6 PM at the Hudson Theater (145 West 44th Street) in Manhattan, it has been announced by Douglas Aibel, Artistic Director of Vineyard Theatre.

The organization hosted the first Gospel Brunch in January of 2009 to a full house. Monthly Gospel Brunches followed in the spring with rave reviews for the music and food. Join us this fall and winter as we roll into another season of Gospel Brunches at Comedy Works South.

La Jolla Playhouse is pleased to present John Leguizamo Diary of a Madman as part of its Page To Stage program, by special arrangement with WestBeth Entertainment. The production will run March 4 - 14, 2010 in the Mandell Weiss Theatre. Performances take place Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:30 pm; Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm; Sunday at 2:00 pm.

The Williamstown Theatre Festival (Nicholas Martin Artistic Director) honored Emmy Award-winning writer/producer and WTF Board member Tom Fontana at its 2009 Gala. The annual gala took place on Monday, November 16 at 6:00 p.m. at the Prince George Ballroom in New York City.
