Good morning, BroadwayWorld! Because we know all our readers eat, sleep and breathe Broadway, what could be better than waking up to it? Today's big news: HAMILTON opens on Broadway tonight!

The Broadway community was a-buzz over the weekend with chatter about President Obama attending Saturday's matinee of HAMILTON. While the attendance of POTUS gave the cast enough reason to celebrate, they also marked the end of their first week of performances with the help of Hennessy. Lin-Manuel Miranda's latest musical, Hamilton has recently moved into the Richard Rodgers theatre in anticipation of a July 13 opening, and tech rehearsals just kicked off last week, on July 2nd. Lin Manuel Miranda took to Twitter today to reveal the news that The Roots' Questlove and Black Thought will be executive producing the Hamilton cast album, due out in September.

Iain has become infatuated with the upcoming musical sensation HAMILTON. He's started a #HamiltonFreestyle challenge and even challenged Lin-Manuel Miranda himself. His love for Hamilton knows no bounds and the other day, Iain even sent the cast a little amendment to the ending of the new musical. For a school assignment, Iain wrote a much nicer ending to Hamilton for Lin Manuel Miranda and Leslie Odom Jr. to perform!
