The concert will be directed by Charlotte Moore and choreographed by Barry McNabb. This event is one night only: Monday, June 14 at the Shubert Theatre. Celebrating Stephen Sondheim's 80th Birthday this year, Barrington Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Producing Director Richard M. Parison, Jr., presents the musical thriller, SWEENEY TODD: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Directed by Julianne Boyd, with musical direction by Darren Cohen, Stephen Sondheim's masterpiece begins previews on June 17; opens June 23 at 7:00pm; and runs through July 17.

SpeakEasy's Boston Premiere Of 'TRAILER PARK MUSICAL' Closes 5/30

Agoraphobia, adultery, spray cheese, road kill, hysterical pregnancy, kleptomania, flan and disco - these are just a few of the subjects covered in hit Off-Broadway musical comedy THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL, which will have its Boston-area premiere April 30-May 30, produced by SpeakEasy Stage Company.

Ebersole, Stephenson & Sheehan Round Out BRIGADOON Concert Cast, 6/14

Tony-winner Christine Ebersole, Don Stephenson and Ciaran Sheehan are set to join Len Cariou, Melissa Errico and Jason Danieley in the Irish Repertory Theatre Annual Benefit Gala's concert performance of Alan J. Lerner and Frederick Loewe's Brigadoon at Broadway's Shubert Theatre on Monday, June 14 at 7 PM. Ebersole will play Meg, Stephenson will play Jeff, and Sheehan Harry in the one-night-only event. Melissa Errico stars as Fiona, Danieley as Tommy, her love interest, and Cariou Mr. Lundie, the keeper of the town's secret.

Grisetti, O’Hurley End Run In Freud Playhouse's HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS, 5/23

Marcia Milgrom Dodge, whose critically acclaimed production of 'Ragtime' transferred from the Kennedy Center to Broadway last fall and is nominated for six Helen Hayes Awards, will direct and choreograph the Reprise Theatre Company production of the 1962 Pulitzer Prize winner 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.' The production will end its run May 23rd.

New Rep Presents SOPHIE TUCKER: THE LAST OF THE RED HOT MAMAS, 6/26

New Repertory Theatre, in residence at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, is pleased to announce its summer show Sophie Tucker: The Last of the Red Hot Mamas, a musical revue by Jack Fournier and Kathy Halenda. Sophie Tucker: The Last of the Red Hot Mamas opens for the press on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 8:00pm and plays through Sunday, July 11, 2010 at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in the Charles Mosesian Theater.

The City of Cleveland Heights and Cain Park proudly announce that Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (Music & Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Book by Hugh Wheeler) opens Cain Park's 2010 season in the Alma Theater June 11-27 (preview June 10). Paul Gurgol, founder/artistic director of Kalliope Stage, directs this 1979 Tony Award-winning musical thriller with music direction by Jodie Ricci.

Like Lansbury and Zeta-Jones, all of the performers have either originated Sondheim characters or performed them in notable revivals. As a group, the gala's performers have appeared in more than 75 Sondheim shows. The gala, directed by Tony Award winner John Doyle, highlighted numbers from shows for which Sondheim has written both music and lyrics, and featured a full orchestra conducted by Encores! Music Director Rob Berman. The benefit will help fund New York City Center's artistic and education programs. In addition, a portion of the evening's proceeds will go to Young Playwrights Inc, a charity of great importance to Sondheim.

Directed by Tony Award-winner John Doyle, the evening will highlight shows for which Mr. Sondheim has written both music and lyrics, and will feature a full orchestra conducted by Encores!
