NJPAC Partners with 54 Below for New Series, Featuring Stars from Broadway's INTO THE WOODS, MAME and More

54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, announces a new partnership with New Jersey Perfoming Arts Center (NJPAC) to present a series of evenings direct from 'Broadway's living room' to the audiences at the esteemed arts venue in Newark, NJ. The series, '54 Below at NJPAC,' launches with three Saturday night events, originally presented on stage at 54 Below, celebrating the music of legendary Broadway songwriters and featuring all-star Broadway talent.

Sunday Special: Celebrating Broadway's High-Stepping Dance Musicals

In celebration of this season's ON THE TOWN, we've collected 10 of our favorite dance musicals. From classics like ANYTHING GOES, 42ND STREET, A CHORUS LINE and WEST SIDE STORY to modern marvels such as NEWSIES and STRICTLY BALLROOM, the way choreography is used to tell a story continues to evolve and inspire.

Photo Flash: THE KILLING OF SISTER GEORGE Celebrates Opening Night

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre, the critically-acclaimed and Drama Desk nominated Off-Broadway company 'dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit,' presents the first New York revival in 30 years of The Killing of Sister George, the controversial 1964 play by Frank Marcus. The first production of the company's 22nd Season will be directed by TACT Company Member Drew Barr, who directed the company's Fall 2012 production ofBrian Friel's Lovers. The show opened at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on October 7, and performances will continue through November 1, 2014. 13th Street Rep's THEATER BOYS Cast Album Out 10/18

Famed gossip columnist Liz Smith -- "the Grande Dame of Dish" -- has won countless honors, including an Emmy Award, in her long career. But she's never before been depicted on the stage. In "Theater Boys" -- the new musical comedy by ASCAP Award-winner Chip Deffaa, now playing at the 13th Street Repertory Theater -- she's not only a character in the show, she's the subject of a whole song about her, a rousing fast-boogie simply titled "Liz Smith." That song will also be heard on the show's cast album (sung by Ricky Schroder and the ensemble), being released October 18th.

THEATER BOYS to Offer Talkbacks

The 13th Street Repertory Theater will offer talkbacks--in which audience members can ask any questions they like of the actors, playwright, and choreographers-after select performances of ASCAP award-winner Chip Deffaa's new musical comedy, "Theater Boys." The show-about actors auditioning for a gay musical--opens Sunday, September 21st. Talkbacks will held after the following performances: Sunday, September 21st at 3 p.m; Thursday, September 25th at 7 pm; Sunday, September 28th at 3 p.m.; Thursday, October 2nd at 7 pm; Sunday, October 5th at 3 p.m.; Thursday, Oct 9th at 7 pm; Sunday, October 12th at 3 p.m; Thursday October 16th at 7 p.m.; Thursday, October 23rd at 7 pm; Sunday, October 26th at 3 pm.

BROADWAY SHOWSTOPPER DIVOS: A SWELL PARTY Comes to the Met Room Tonight

The Chamlins to Bring 'GEMS BY JULE' to Don't Tell Mama this Fall

Popular cabaret couple 'The Chamlins' are bringing back their critically acclaimed Jule Styne retrospective to Don't Tell Mama for two performances this Fall. The incredibly prolific Styne wrote hundreds of songs over his 60+-year career. Selections span his early days in jazz-infused Chicago (including the first song he ever published) to Hollywood in its studio heyday, on to the Golden Age of Broadway and television. Their longtime director Teresa Fischer is once again on board.

Marin Mazzie Joins Cast of 54 SINGS BIG RIVER

54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, has announced Tony Award nominee Marin Mazzie (Bullets Over Broadway, Next To Normal, Kiss Me Kate), as the latest addition to the starry cast of '54 Sings Big River.'The one-night-only event takes place this Sunday, September 14 at 7PM and 9:30PM.

G&L Theatre Box Office Re-Opens Today

The on-site box office at the G&L Theatre, home to Naples equity theater group TheatreZone, will re-open starting today, September 3, from 10 am until 12 noon.
