What He Did For Love, a tribute concert to the late composer Marvin Hamlisch will be presented at DROM on October 29th at 8pm. The concert will feature some of Hamlisch's award winning songs, as well as some of his lesser known songs; the show will also feature stories from National Tour members, as well as testimonies from Mr. Hamlisch's close friends. Anchored in Love, A Musical Tribute will be performed Monday, January 30, 2012 at 9pm at The Triad Theater on 72nd Street. All proceeds of the night will be donated to Camp ANCHOR's building fund in honor of Jamie Malone, Paige Malone and Michael Mulhall. Jamie, Paige and Michael were counselors at Camp ANCHOR on Long Island and were in a fatal car crash in July of 2010.

Syfy has signed actress Valerie Cruz (Off the Map, True Blood, Dexter) as a recurring guest star on its newest original series Alphas, it was announced today. The action drama from Universal Cable Productions and BermanBraun Television is currently shooting in Toronto and will premiere Monday, July 11 @ 10:00PM ET/PM.
