What He Did For Love, a tribute concert to the late composer Marvin Hamlisch will be presented at DROM on October 29th at 8pm. The concert will feature some of Hamlisch's award winning songs, as well as some of his lesser known songs; the show will also feature stories from National Tour members, as well as testimonies from Mr. Hamlisch's close friends. The concert is a must for all musical theatre lovers, and will provide the perfect homage to the late great composer!

The second season of Syfy's hit series Alphas, produced by Universal Cable Productions and BermanBruan Television, returns tonight, July 23 at 10PM ET/PT with a deep roster of guest stars. New this season are Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Rudy), C. Thomas Howell (Southland), Lauren Holly (NCIS), Steve Byers (Immortals, Total Recall), Kandyse McClure (Battlestar Galactica) and Noah Reid (Rookie Blue). Returning guest stars include John Pyper-Ferguson (Caprica, Brothers and Sisters) as Stanton Parish, Kathleen Munroe (Haven, Stargate Universe) as Dani Rosen and Mahershala Ali (Treme, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) as Agent Nathan Cley. In addition to Defiance, Syfy will also showcase original series Alphas, Being Human and Warehouse 13 with star-studded panels. Convention-goers will get their first 'taste' of Defiance as Syfy transforms Hard Rock Hotel San Diego restaurant, Maryjane's into Defiance Café where fans can 'Watch. Play. Eat.' and completely immerse themselves in the world of the show and game.

Featuring a record number of primetime original programming hours, Syfy's hot Summer 2012 will be highlighted by the premiere of the new unscripted series School Sprits (from executive producer Mark Burnett), Insane or Inspired? and Paranormal Highway (working title) starring Jack Osbourne.

Joining the cast of Syfy's ALPHAS this season is Erin Way (Detroit 187, Private Practice) as 'Kat' the newest addition to the team of quirky superhuman investigators. The season will consist of 13 episodes and is slated to premiere on Syfy in July 2012.

Holtham (Thicker Than Water at Ensemble Studio Theatre), Anna Moench (The Pillow Book at 59E59), Kristen Lee Rosenfeld (Musical Director, National Tour of Spring Awakening) and Luanne Aronen Rosenfeld(Holly and Ivy - Seattle), and Jen Silverman (Crane Story at the Cherry Lane Theatre), all addressing the meaning of equality within the landscape of the 2012 election.

Anchored in Love, A Musical Tribute will be performed Monday, January 30, 2012 at 9pm at The Triad Theater on 72nd Street. All proceeds of the night will be donated to Camp ANCHOR's building fund in honor of Jamie Malone, Paige Malone and Michael Mulhall. Jamie, Paige and Michael were counselors at Camp ANCHOR on Long Island and were in a fatal car crash in July of 2010.
