The longest running musical of all time, Les Misérables, celebrated it's 25th anniversary in a special concert event, which was recorded live from London's famous O2 theater on October 3. Now Universal Studios Home Entertainment has released the video on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download. The longest running musical of all time, Les Misérables, will sweep U.S. audiences off their feet in a special one-night, in-theater event on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. local time. Presented by NCM Fathom, Omniverse Vision and Cameron Mackintosh, in association with The Broadway League and Nederlander/First, Les Misérables in Concert - The 25th Anniversary Event was recorded live from London's famous O2 theater on Oct. 3 and will be released on Blu-ray on February 22.

Tony award-winning actress Lea Salonga turns 40 on Tuesday, February 22, 2011. It coincidentally falls on the same day when "Les Miserables" 25th Anniversary Concert at the O2 Arena, where Salonga played Fantine, is released on DVD and Blu-ray in the United States.

BroadwayWorld.com's Seattle sources have exclusively confirmed for us that Disney's Aladdin will indeed open at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre in July of 2011. The stage production will feature all the songs from the film as well as restored songs from early drafts of the score.
