ABS-CBN, the Philippine television network that bagged the rights to adapt the hit reality show 'The Voice' from Talpa Media Group, based in the Netherlands, has just released 'The Voice PH' newest blind auditions trailer, which features coaches Lea Salonga, Apl. de. ap of Black Eyed Peas, Bamboo Mañalac, and Sarah Geronimo-all four have carved out solid music careers and have huge fan bases in the Philippines.

Renowned musical theatre composer and lyricist Scott Alan will soon host a reading of HOME, written by Christy Hall and himself, on June 27, 2013 directed by Stafford Arima. 'For the first time in ten years of doing readings and workshops of HOME,' Alan writes, 'I am presenting the story I always set out to tell.'

In a new essay penned by Tony and Olivier Award-winning stage icon Lea Salonga for the Philippine Enquirer, the triple-threat discusses her many current endeavors and her immediate plans for the future, including her ongoing Cafe Carlyle cabaret residency, the recent ALLEGIANCE workshop and her upcoming judging duties on THE VOICE in The Philippines.

The Broadway-bound show is in the midst of a New York City developmental lab through May 17, and a production source tells BroadwayWorld.com that ALLEGIANCE is aiming for Broadway, possibly in the spring of 2014. The source cautions that there's numerous variables including star schedules and theatre availability that need to line up, so there is yet no official plan.
