Award Winning Musical 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' At The Waterfront

The Waterfront Playhouse continues their smash 71st season with the Broadway hit, 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' opening Thursday, March 3 and running to March 26th. Nominated for 10 Tony Awards, this funny musical has a book by Jeffrey Lane and music and lyrics by David Yazbek. 'Theatrical pizzazz!' says The Daily News. 'Scoundrels' is directed by WFPH artistic director Danny Weathers, with musical direction by Michael Fauss and choregraphy by Penny Leto and Christine Marguerite, the same team responsible for such hits as 'Reefer Madness,' 'Urinetown' and last year's 'The Full Monty,' which sold-out every performance.

Lake Worth Playhouse Presents 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,' Closes 2/6

The Lake Worth Playhouse continues its 58th season with the modern madcap musical comedy, DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS. The production features a cast of Playhouse favorites mixed with new talent from throughout South Florida. Performances run from January 21 through February 6 2011, with a Preview Night performance on January 20, on the stage of the Lake Worth Playhouse located at 713 Lake Avenue in downtown Lake Worth.

'Kiss Me, Kate' Star Honors Her Lineage as Granddaughter to Kathryn Grayson

The Relevant Stage presents the Broadway classic 'Kiss Me, Kate' choreographed by Marisa Martinez and Keenon Hooks, with costume design by Kara McLeod, February 17 - 28 runs Thursdays and Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 2:30 and 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 and 7:00 p.m. at The Warner Grand Theatre 478 West Sixth Street, San Pedro. General admission tickets are: $20 adult, $15 senior (55+)/college student, and $5 18 and under; prestige seating (first five rows, reserved seat) $30 adult, $25 senior/college student, and $10, 18 and under. Centre Stage Hosts Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Auditions Tonight

Centre Stage will be holding auditions for the upcoming musical comedy, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels TONIGHT -- Monday, Jan. 17 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Callbacks will be held on Sunday, Jan. 23 beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Having been the first to bring shows such as Jerry Herman's La Cage aux Folles, Neil Simon's The Goodbye Girl - The Musical, Mel Brooks' The Producers, as well as a regional theatre premiere production of The Wedding Singer to western Maryland audiences, Way Off Broadway is adding the musical comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels to the list of firsts. DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS Plays Crown Uptown Theatre Thru 10/17

Based on a popular 1998 film, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is a musical comedy about two fraudsters, Lawrence Jameson and Freddy Benson, living on the French Riviera. Lawrence is a cultivated and suave gentleman who cons rich ladies out of their money. Freddy on the other hand is a small time American thief who cons women into giving him money by telling made up stories about his sick grandmother. One day they meet on the train and try to setup some work together, but soon find out that the small French town they live in isn't big enough to support two scammers. So they setup a challenge, they agree that the first person to successfully steal $50,000 from a young Christine Colgat, will get to stay in town, while the loser gets to leave. The battle between them then starts, with many twists and laughs along the way!
