Company of Fools to Present VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE This Summer

This July Company of Fools (COF) presents the hilarious winner of the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, by the master of comedy, Christopher Durang. One of the most lauded Broadway plays of recent years, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike has been described by the New York Times as, 'deliriously funny' and 'comic acting raised to the level of high art.'

THE BEST OF BROADWAY SINGS Channels Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, P!NK and More at 54 Below Tonight

The Broadway Sings concert series comes to 54 Below for its first 'Best Of Broadway Sings' concert, which will feature showstoppers from the series' previous seven concerts. Some of Broadway's brightest, current talents will sing completely new arrangements of the hits of seven pop superstars: Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Justin Timberlake, and P!NK. Over 15 Broadway performers will be accompanied by an 8-piece jazz band playing unique, original orchestrations created for the acclaimed series.

BROTHERS FROM THE BOTTOM Plays Billie Holiday Theatre, Now thru 3/29

As their award-winning theatre home in Bed-Stuy's Restoration Plaza undergoes a multi-million dollar facelift, The Billie Holiday Theatre (BHT) has announced a move that will bring their acclaimed productions to Brooklyn's flourishing Downtown Cultural District. Thanks to a special partnership with the Brooklyn Music School Playhouse, BHT will kick off a two-year residency with a high profile run of the play Brothers from the Bottom, starring actor and TONY Award-winning producer Wendell Pierce (SELMA, Treme, The Wire). The play, written and directed by BHT artistic director Jackie Alexander, will run tonight, March 6th - 29th at the Brooklyn Music School Playhouse, 126 Saint Felix Street between Hanson and Lafayette, in the heart of the BAM Cultural District.

Company of Fools Presents PROOF, Now thru 2/28

This February Company of Fools (COF) will present the critically acclaimed and award-winning play, Proof, by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Auburn. As part of The Center's BIG IDEA project The Brain, COF will present 14 public performances and one student matinee. Performance will run from tonight, February 11 through February 28, 2015.

What sets it apart from these descendants is the crucial messages of social, cultural and sexual revolution which given the current climate seems especially relevant with war, racism and the raging discussions over LGBT issues still very much in our daily news.

Ryan Cabrera to Release New EP in March

RYAN CABRERA has announced today that his long-awaited new EP WAKE UP BEAUTIFUL will be released Tuesday, March 3 via Dynamite Music/Caroline.
