History repeats itself as the cabaret provocateur Mark Nadler extends his mile-a-minute musical survey of 1961 into 2012. The special 51st anniversary of "Crazy 1961" plays three consecutive Sundays at 1pm - January 15, 22, 29 - at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, 407 West 42nd Street.

Simply Streisand, New York's long-running hit revue, will make a special, one night only appearance in Putnam County on Sunday, January 15th at 7pm at the Philipstown Depot Theatre, located on Garrison's Landing in Garrison, NY.

Tony Award winner Alice Ripley just concluded a series of solo concerts titled Alice Ripley's Daily Practice at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, a cabaret space downstairs at West Bank Cafe. In the music video below, she sings 'Essence' from her album, 'Daily Practice: Vol. 1.' The video, shot on location in Seattle, was directed by John Carucci.

Godspell's Julia Mattison is joined by fellow cast members from Broadway's Godspell, in a holiday comedy rock show at the Beechman on December 19th. The concert will debut a number of new twisted holiday tunes, with songs like "Frostbite! Awesome!" and "Santa is the Ultimate Creeper". Mattison and friends will bring the laughs with these new tunes and some fresh takes on old classics.
