Los Angeles singer, MaryJo Mundy will bring her one-woman show entitled 'Nearly Nyro' to the Arthur Newman Theater in Palm Desert on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 2 PM. The show is based on the music and life of singer and songwriter Laura Nyro and will feature a full band directed by Ross Kalling along with MaryJo's back up singers. Tickets are $15 cash at the box office that opens at 1 PM. The Arthur Newman Theater is located at 73750 Catalina Way in the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert.

Outdoor summer entertainment venue Music by the Lake, presented by George Williams College of Aurora University, announces its 18th annual season presenting artist debuts and a range of musical genres and shows, including orchestral music, contemporary and nostalgic pop/rock, country and family programming. The summer series, which includes weekend events from June 24 through August 11, features events for all ages to enjoy.

FIELD REPORT, the Wisconsin-based quartet founded and fronted by Chris Porterfield, have made their national TV debut on CBS This Morning Saturday Sessions, in advance of the upcoming album, SUMMERTIME SONGS. In anticipation of the new album, the band recently premiered the first single, 'Never Look Back,' with Stereogum. 'Never Look Back' and an additional track, 'If I Knew,' are now available everywhere, as both singles and instant downloads when pre-ordering Summertime Songs. A national tour will follow the release of the album.

This moving work of dance-theater-"a Choreoplay"-opens up all-too-necessary conversations about sexual trauma, systemic racism, women's healing and ownership of their bodies, and the undoing of rape culture.
