Pacific Symphony announces what is perhaps its most significant season to date for the 36-year-old orchestra-the 2014-15 Hal and Jeanette Segerstrom Family Foundation Classical Series and special events, celebrating Music Director Carl St. Clair's 25 years at the helm. Filled with giant stars and giants of the repertoire that have moved listeners for centuries, the season is pure St. Clair-embracing and celebrating all that great music can mean to the human heart.

The Pacific Symphony Announces Their 2014-2015 Season

Pacific Symphony announces what is perhaps its most significant season to date for the 36-year-old orchestra—the 2014-15 Hal and Jeanette Segerstrom Family Foundation Classical Series and special events, celebrating Music Director Carl St.Clair's 25 years at the helm. Filled with giant stars and giants of the repertoire that have moved listeners for centuries, the season is pure St.Clair—embracing and celebrating all that great music can mean to the human heart. This milestone anniversary season has been carefully handcrafted by the maestro, steeped in music with deep meaning for him, as he is surrounded by friends who also happen to be some of the classical music world's biggest luminaries: Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman and Joshua Bell, to name just three. The biggest season ever—it includes more special guests, stellar 21st-century composers and some of St.Clair's greatest mentors and dearest friends.

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, showcases the capabilities of its new state-of-the-art Pasadena venue with a towering production of Shakespeare's ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA, directed by ANW Producing Artistic Directors Julia Rodriguez-Elliott and Geoff Elliott, with original music by composer Laura Karpman, opening Saturday, March 3 and closing Sunday, May 13, 2012 (previews begin Wednesday, February 29). This seminal tragedy is based on larger-than-life figures caught up in an empire-shattering dance of lust, love, politics and war. A 'Pay What You Can" date, which allows patrons to purchase tickets for what they can afford, is Thursday, March 1.
