In 2004, two nobodies in New York decided to enter the inaugural New York Music Theatre Festival (NYMF). The problem was, they didn't have a musical. With a deadline set, three weeks later they entered [title of show], named after the first line in the festivals application form. [title of show] is a musical by two guys named Jeff and Hunter about a musical by two guys named Jeff and Hunter. Its very specificity gives [title of show] broad appeal, as it takes a thoroughly unique and comical look at the pleasures and perils of the artistic process.
