Devised by the Companies, based on the works of JM Barrie Previews from 16 November, Press Night 23 November, final performance 4 February.  Sophie Thompson has had to withdraw from the cast of Peter Pan, the National Theatre's Christmas show, due to a broken wrist. Anna Francolini, last seen at the NT in wonder.land, will take over the role of Captain Hook/ Mrs Darling. The NT is delighted that Anna was available to step into the role, and wishes Sophie a speedy recovery. 

Ruth Wilson takes the title role in HEDDA GABLER in a new version by Patrick Marber, directed by Ivo van Hove, in the new National Theatre season. The production previews from 5 December.

Dr. Seuss's THE LORAX, directed by Max Webster and starring Simon Lipkin as the Lorax, alongside puppeteers Laura Cubitt and Ben Thompson and Simon Paisley Day as the Once-ler, is the third production in Matthew Warchus' opening season as Artistic Director of The Old Vic. The production opens tomorrow, December 16, and BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

The Old Vic has today announced casting for David Greig's adaptation of Dr. Seuss's The Lorax, directed by Max Webster. Simon Lipkin will play the role of the Lorax, alongside puppeteers Laura Cubitt and Ben Thompson, whilst Simon Paisley Day takes the role of the Once-ler.

The National Theatre's hugely popular adaptation of Ross Collins' much loved children's picture book The Elephantom, about a little girl who is unexpectedly visited by a giant blue ghost-elephant, officially opened this weekend at the New London Theatre where it will run in the daytime until 6 September 2014. Today, 2 November, the National Theatre's award-winning production of War Horse will release over 300,000 new tickets for sale, taking bookings at the New London Theatre to 23 October 2010.

From 30 September 2009, a new cast of actors and puppeteers will join the National Theatre?s award-winning West End hit War Horse which is currently playing to packed houses at the New London Theatre. The National?s sell-out production of Nick Stafford?s adaptation of Michael Morpurgo?s book which transferred to the West End in March this year, has recently welcomed its 100,000th visitor to the New London Theatre. In June this year 150,000 new tickets were released for sale, taking bookings up to 12 February 2010.

Full casting is now confirmed for the West End Transfer of the National Theatre?s sell-out production of Michael Morpurgo?s War Horse, adapted by Nick Stafford. War Horse will run at the New London Theatre from 28 March booking until 26 September with press night on 3 April.
