Motherhood Out Loud, conceived by Susan R. Rose and Joan Stein, is a play featuring a culturally and gender diverse series of candid monologues on the subject of motherhood, written by a host of celebrated writers. Motherhood Out Loud traverses the experience of motherhood from inception, birth, sexuality, growing up, letting go and the sandwich generation. The show has had successful productions all over the country, including an off-Broadway run at Primary Stages in New York City.

Shakespeare & Company announces its winter session of in-school Residencies, which culminate in three exciting productions ripe with wit, magic, trickery and love. Lenox Middle School will perform Much Ado About Nothing on Wednesday, January 15th at 7:00pm, the Hayground School in Bridgehampton, NY will perform A Midsummer Night's Dream on January 30th at 6:00pm at the Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor and Nessacus Middle School will perform Twelfth Night in February.

The children's book "WILSON AND THE WHITE HOUSE PUPS" by award winning Author/Illustrator Susan Castriota is a 2013 Purple Dragonfly Book Award winning book. It won a second-place award for Historical Fiction. The book, published in 2012, was edited by The WHITE HOUSE HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION. Castriota uses Wilson, her real-life adopted dog to inspire young minds to learn about the United States Presidents and White House History.

One, an emerging hip-hop artist, the other, a high-level Afghan interpreter, both fight to navigate the pitfalls of romance, religious differences and political unrest.
