Chen Dance Center presents newsteps, its semi-annual emerging choreographer's series, January 14-16 at 7:30 PM at the Chen Dance Center, 70 Mulberry Street.    Since 1994, the Chen Dance Center has supported and presented hundreds of dancers and choreographers developing innovative works through their space and production grants. 

New York Theatre Ballet presented, by arrangement with The Estate of Antony Tudor and The Antony Tudor Trust, an A. Tudor Celebration. The night was a treasure trove of ballets by the great English choreographer Antony Tudor: three of his masterpieces from the 1930s, originally staged in London and an unearthed gem from 1952.

As the culminating event of the Lunar New Year, H.T. Chen's Lantern Festival Performances will present A Tribute to Remy Charlip (1929-2012), one of the dance world's best-loved artists, in the intimate teahouse setting of the Chen Dance Center, 70 Mulberry Street, tonight, February 28, March 1 & 2 at 7:30 PM. A pre-show reception, with refreshments, will take place at 7 PM, and the one-hour performance will begin at 7:30 PM.
