The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's 54th season kicks off in high style with Noel Coward's final and semi-autobiographical play, A Song At Twilight. 

On the night when the playwright/director introduces playgoers to a new Rhinebeck family for a trilogy of election year plays, take a look back at the play that started it all.

Signature Theatre presents a special return engagement of Old Hats, created and performed by Bill Irwin and David Shiner, with music and lyrics by and featuring Shaina Taub, directed by Tina Landau. The production officially opened last night, February 18, and will now play an extended run through April 3, 2016 in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Celebrating classic plays and the new works they inspire, Resonance Ensemble is proud to open its 11th season this weekend at the Theatre at St. Clements, with CYRANO DE BERGERAC and the world premiere of BURNING in rep. Red Bull Theater (Jesse Berger, Artistic Director) today announced that their Twelfth Season will kick off with a special benefit reading and party on Monday October 26th (7:30pm): George Etherege's The Man Of Mode, or, Sir Fopling Flutter, directed by Jesse Berger, starring Reg Rogers and Veanne Cox and featuring Michael Urie as Sir Fopling, along with Matthew Amendt, Suzanne Bertish, Angel Desai, Ryan Garbayo, Adam Green, Kathryn Meisle, Amelia Pedlow, Everett Quinton, Liv Rooth, Marc Vietor, Spiff Weigand, and more The Man of Mode will feature live music by Scott Killian. 

Next on the Main Stage, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey will present Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett's drama, The Diary of Anne Frank, adapted by Wendy Kesselman and directed by Joseph Discher. Nearly 75 years ago in the Netherlands, a young girl received a diary for her 13th birthday. Today, Anne Frank's humor, strength, and innate goodness continue to shine forth from her words to inspire readers and audiences of all ages. The powerful story of her family's will to survive comes to unforgettable life for a new generation in this adaptation of the Pulitzer, Tony, and NY Drama Critic's Circle Award-winning play.

An exclusive party with cast and special guests including Chukwudi Iwuji, Miriam Silverman, Matthew Rauch, and Laila Robins, among others, follows the benefit reading.

Signature Theatre presents the world premiere of A.R. Gurney's new play LOVE & MONEY, directed by Mark Lamos. The production runs through October 4, 2015 in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). This show is a co-production with Westport Country Playhouse.

Broadway's new musical Amazing Grace officially opened last night, July 16, at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street). Staged readings for the 2015 National Playwrights Conference begin this week at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. Under leadership from Artistic Director Wendy C. Goldberg in her 11th season, the famed conference will develop eight new plays, selected from a pool of 1,300 submissions, with support from an award-winning slate of actors and directors.

Julie Halston (You Can't Take It With You) and Brad Oscar (Something Rotten!) are the recipients of the annual Richard Seff Award presented by the Actors' Equity Foundation to veteran female and male character actors for the best performance in a supporting role in a Broadway or Off-Broadway production. 

The next Revelation Reading, Euripides' HIPPOLYTOS, directed by Ted Pappas with Olympia Dukakis, Laila Robins, Robert Cuccioli, Clifton Duncan, Gina Daniels, Phillipe Bowgen, Catherine Gowl, Lara Hillier, January LaVoy, Deanne Lorette, Bhavesh Patel, Jean Tafler, and Edward James Hyland, will take place Monday, February 16th at Cherry Lane Theatre, 38 Commerce Street.
