Irish Repertory Theatre continues its 11th season of the New Works Reading Series with a staged reading of Anton Dudley's play SONG OF THE WIND.

American Theater Company (ATC) presents the regional premiere of Men on Boats by Jaclyn Backhaus, tonight, Jan. 6, through Feb. 12, 2017, immediately following the production's acclaimed Off Broadway run directed by ATC Artistic Director Will Davis at Playwrights Horizons. Davis also helms the ATC production, with an all-new Chicago cast.

Broadway veteran and two-time SAG Award winner DALE SOULES has just been nominated for her third Screen Actors Guild Award in the category of Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy for her work on the smash-hit Netflix series ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK.

Mark Rylance and Louis Jenkins' critically acclaimed new comic play NICE FISH will transfer to the West End this winter, following sold-out seasons at the American Repertory Theater at Harvard University in Cambridge and St Ann's Warehouse in New York. Directed by Claire van Kampen, the production runs at the Harold Pinter Theatre 15 November-21 January 2017, with press night on 25 November.

Batter up! Just in time for the thick of baseball season comes the muscular musical about baseball super-fan Joe Boyd. Joe is transformed into a star slugger after he makes a deal with the devil and his sexy associate, Lola, for a chance to lead his home team to victory in the pennant race against the New York Yankees.

Don't miss Jason Kravits (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) and special guest star Alexander Gemignani, in Jason's improvisational nightclub act, OFF The TOP. This is the final performance, before Kravits departs to tread the boards this summer at the Muny and the La Jolla Playhouse. The final show plays June 6th at 7pm at The Duplex.

Aurora Theatre Company closes its 24th season with Athol Fugard's (Blood Knot, My Children! My Africa!) modern classic 'MASTER HAROLD'... and the boys. Former San Jose Repertory Theatre Artistic Director Timothy Near makes her Aurora directing debut with 'MASTER HAROLD'... and the boys, featuring L. Peter Callender (Breakfast With Mugabe,The Soldier's Tale and Permanent Collection), Adrian Roberts (Breakfast With Mugabe), and Andrew Humann (Shotgun Players, San Francisco Playhouse, Berkeley Playhouse). CHARLES BUSCH, author and star of such plays as Psycho Beach Party, Times Square Angel, The Lady in Question, Red Scare on Sunset, You Should Be So Lucky, Shanghai Moon and The Divine Sister brings his iconic Cabaret stylings to The COPA Palm Springs for two 'sure to be sell-out' performances, October 16 and 17 at 8:00 pm.   Born in New York City, he began his theatrical career shortly after graduating from Northwestern University in 1976.  After spending two years in Chicago working with different local theatre companies, he returned to his home town of New York City with a solo play called Hollywood Confidential, which he performed as a weekend late show at Charles Ludlam's Ridiculous Theatrical Company's theatre at One Sheridan Square. 

Kansas City Repertory Theatre continues its 2015-16 season and its commitment to the creation of unforgettable new plays with the WORLD PREMIERE of Blueprints to Freedom: An Ode to Bayard Rustin, written by and starring Michael Benjamin Washington and directed by the critically acclaimed Lucie Tiberghien. This story is more than relevant. It's riveting. Those who stand up for equality in 2015 are following in the footsteps of Bayard Rustin, the lesser known but powerfully influential civil rights leader who orchestrated the March on Washington and stepped forward himself as an openly gay man at a time when few had the courage to do so. In this ode, an exiled Rustin masterminds 'a tribute to the ancestors' 100 years after the Emancipation Proclamation. This exciting production begins tonight, Oct. 16 and runs through Sunday, Nov. 15 at KC Rep's Copaken Stage in the Power & Light District in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
