THE ADDAMS FAMILY welcomed five new principal cast members beginning Tuesday, March 8 at the Lunt Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street) when Heidi Blickenstaff ([title of show]) assumed the role of Alice Beineke, Adam Grupper (Brighton Beach Memoirs) the role of Mal Beineke, Brad Oscar (Tony-nominated for The Producers) as Fester, Rachel Potter (Wicked nat'l. tour) as Wednesday Addams and Jesse Swenson (Spring Awakening) as Lucas Beineke. Original cast members Nathan Lane, Kevin Chamberlin, Terrence Mann, Carolee Carmello, Krysta Rodriguez and Wesley Taylor gave their final performances on Sunday, March 6. Musicals Tonight! continues its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys and Understudies with its next editions of At This Performance…™ to be held on Sunday, February 13th and Monday, February 14th at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre, 2162 Broadway, (above the Promenade Theatre- Broadway at 76th Street), 3rd Floor at 8 PM.

Broadway's biggest and budding stars are coming together to raise money for this heralded choreographer, educator, and equity performer who has dedicated her life to inspiring dancers and audiences around the world.

On Feb. 7, 2011, composer-lyricist Ryan Scott Oliver released his first published songbook of 20 songs from his musicals Darling, 35mm, and more.

On Feb. 7, world famous sheet music supplier Colony Music will now add Music+Lyrics by Ryan Scott Oliver: Volume 1 to its roster, the same day the composer will give two concerts releasing the book at Joe's Pub.

Tony winning Broadway legend Carol Channing will be honored at the LIGHT OF HOPE AWARDS on February 5, 2011 at The Rancho Las Palmas Resort in Palm Springs, California for her outstanding work with The Dr. Carol Channing And Harry Kullijian Foundation For The Arts in advocating for arts education in all public schools across the nation. The 'Night At The Movies' Gala will star Tony Nominated stage, film and television actress Jonelle Allen and the nationally renowned young performing group, The Kids Next Door. Proceeds from the event will benefit Christophers Clubhouse, a non profit organization dedicated to educating and empowering children, parents and communities to keep children safe from predatory crimes.

On Feb. 7, 2011, Ben Crawford, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Lindsay Mendez, Krysta Rodriguez, and more lead a 17-member Broadway cast as composer-lyricist Ryan Scott Oliver releases his first published songbook at Joe's Pub. Performances are at 7pm and 9:30pm and everyone in attendance receives the collection free of charge.

Ars Nova (Jason Eagan, Artistic Director; Jeremy Blocker, Managing Director) proudly presented the return of The Joe Iconis Christmas Spectacular on Friday, December 17, Saturday December 18 and Sunday, December 19, 2010. Joe Iconis and cast members from his musical, Bloodsong of Love, were joined by a merry band of musical theater punks in the third annual insane celebration of all things red and green. The event featured brand new holiday songs, old favorites, tiny elves, enormous reindeer, an inebriated Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and an ungodly number of candy canes.

A distinguished list of entertainers joined in honoring Tony Award® and Emmy Award® winning actor Billy Crystal, Class of 1970, at the Tisch School of Arts' annual gala, The Face of Tisch including Christina Bianco '03, The Bob Cantwell New Orleans Jazz Band, Seán Curran '84, James Franco '11, Whoopi Goldberg, Marcia Gay Harden '88, Isaiah Johnson '10, Jesse L. Martin '91, Krysta Rodriguez '06, Paul Shaffer, Noah Weisberg '98, and Robin Williams. The event was held on Monday, December 6th at the renowned Frederick P. Rose Hall, home of Jazz at Lincoln Center.
