Broadway Veterans Round Out Starry Cast of SPAMALOT at the Hollywood Bowl

BroadwayWorld has just confirmed the final casting for the Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of Monty Python's Spamalot, the parody of the Arthurian Legend which won the Tony for Best Musical in 2005. Those joining the starry company are Broadway vets Kevin Chamberlin as Sir Bedevere, Tom Deckman as Not Dead Fred, and Rick Holmes as Sir Lancelot.

Windy City Playhouse, Chicago's newest Equity theater, announces the cast for its third production, the riotous Things You Shouldn't Say Past Midnight: A Comedy in Three Beds from Peter Ackerman, co-author of 20th Century Fox's hit animated film Ice Age. This contemporary sex farce is directed by William Brown, fresh off his successful run of Doubt at Writers Theatre. Brown directs a stellar cast of Broadway veterans and rising stars including Emily Tate, Peter Meadows, Patrese McClain, Shane Kenyon, Chris Sheard and Robert Spencer. Atlantic Records recording group Straight No Chaser has announced they will return to the Fox Theatre for “The New Old Fashioned Tour” on Wednesday, December 16 at 8 p.m. The tour follows the release of the world famous a cappella group's much-anticipated new album, “The New Old Fashioned,” the group's fifth full-length release arriving this October.

The tour will return to The VETS in Providence on Tuesday, December 1st at 7:30pm. Tickets are on sale Friday, May 15th at 10am. Tickets are $59.50-$39.50 and can be purchased at www.thevetsri.com, by calling (401) 421.ARTS (2787) or in person at the PPAC/The VETS Box Office located at 220 Weybosset St. The VETS is located at One Avenue of the Arts in Providence. Long after the Waldos coined the term '420,' composer Dan Studney, lyricist Kevin Murphy, and actor/producer Christian Campbell decided that it was time to test the waters in New York City for the return of the hit cult musical REEFER MADNESS. Lighting up at 54 Below, they wanted to see just how high the 17-year-old material gets modern audiences while also celebrating the 10th anniversary of the film adaptation of the show.
