JERSEY BOYS, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning international hit musical, will celebrate five record-breaking years on Broadway with a month-long benefit in support of the VH1 Save The Music Foundation by donating one dollar from every ticket sold for every performance in the month of October.
Whoopi Goldberg will rejoin the cast of the hit musical comedy SISTER ACT in October to complete her run as Mother Superior. She will perform the role on the evening of Friday 22 October, at two shows on Saturday 23 October and at two shows on Monday 25 October. SISTER ACT features an original score with music by multi-Academy, Grammy and Golden Globe Award-winning and celebrated composer Alan Menken (Little Shop of Horrors, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and Enchanted) and lyrics by Tony Award-nominee Glenn Slater (The Little Mermaid), has a book by multi-Emmy Award winners Cheri and Bill Steinkellner ('Cheers'), choreography by Tony and Olivier Award nominee Anthony Van Laast (Mamma Mia, Bombay Dreams) and is directed by four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks (Guys and Dolls, A Funny Thing...Forum, Smokey Joe's Café).
