The HBO series TRUE BLOOD and GAME OF THRONES and the CINEMAX series BANSHEE and STRIKE BACK are confirmed for panels and autograph sessions at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2013.

For season 1, Game of Thrones won 2 out of the 13 nominations for the 2011 Emmy Awards. To comply with this trend, they have recently once again renewed for season 4 to air in 2014.

EWonline reports that HBO's GAME OF THRONES has tapped indie rock band The Hold Steady to create a hit song for the series upcoming third season. The Brooklyn-based band will perform “The Bear and the Maiden Fair,” with lyrics by Martin and music by the show's composer Ramin Djawadi.
