Fox Pushes FANTASTIC FOUR Reboot to Summer 2015

According to Deadline, the studio's planned reboot of the Marvel franchise has been bumped from its original March 6, 2015 release to June 19. Produced by Matthew Vaughn, the film will be directed by Josh Trank, and features a reworked script by Simon Kinberg.

According to Deadline, Michael B. Jordan, who drew attention for his starring role in FRUITVALE STATION, is 'likely' to play 'The Human Torch,' aka Johnny Storm. In addition, GAME OF THRONES' Kit Harrington, Jack O'Connell, and Miles Teller are the frontrunners to play Reed Richards, while Kate Mara, Saoirse Ronan, and Margot Robbie are being considered for Sue Storm. No names were included on who might take on the role of 'The Thing.'

For season 1, Game of Thrones won 2 out of the 13 nominations for the 2011 Emmy Awards. That same year, the series won a number of other awards including three Scream Awards for Best TV Show, Best Supporting Actor (Peter Dinklage), and Breakout Performance - Female (Emilia Clarke). The HBO network has been consistently renewing the hit show every season for the following year as soon as the 1st episodes' rankings came in. To comply with this trend, they have recently once again renewed for season 4 to air in 2014.
