Producers Tom O'Connell and James Seabright are pleased to announce that they will be staging a first-class revival of Mart Crowley's ground-breaking play, THE BOYS IN THE BAND, opening at Park Theatre in London this autumn, and that, due to popular demand, the production will embark on a short tour to The Lowry, Theatre Royal Brighton and West Yorkshire Playhouse.

59E59 Theaters will host the US premiere of RADIANT VERMIN, written by Philip Ridley and directed by David Mercatali, at the 2016 Brits Off Broadway festival. Produced by Supporting Wall, Metal Rabbit Productions, and Soho Theatre, RADIANT VERMIN begins performances on Thursday, June 2 for a limited engagement through Sunday, July 3. 

Ellie Nunn, the daughter of the legendary Shakespearean director Sir Trevor Nunn and Imogen Stubbs, makes her Shakespeare debut this Tuesday 5th April as Viola in Grassroots Shakespeare London's production of Twelfth Night. Sir Trevor memorably directed Imogen Stubbs as Viola in the 1996 film of 'Twelfth Night'. The play also stars John Pickard as Sir Toby Belch and Tamaryn Payne as Olivia.

Thomas Kyd's THE SPANISH TRAGEDY, directed by Dan Hutton, opened 11 February and runs through 5th March 2016 at the Old Red Lion. A group of six actors takes on Kyd's revenge tragedy and bring a world of villainy, vengeance and warped justice to life.

Double Platinum selling artist Newton Faulkner joins the cast of Green Day's explosive Tony Award ® winning musical, American Idiot, on it's UK Tour. Newton will be taking on the role of Johnny from May 2016 after Matt Thorpe, who will open the role from 19 March at the Curve Theatre, Leicester until 7 May at the New Theatre, Oxford.  One of the UK's finest contemporary singer-songwriters, Newton's unique style of guitar playing and soaring vocals have made him a worldwide success since he burst onto the music scene back in 2007. 

?In only its second London production in the 33 years since his death, IN THE BAR OF A TOKYO HOTEL, directed by Robert Chevara, will run for a  6-week season at Charing Cross Theatre from Tuesday 5 April -  Saturday 14 May.

Desperate Measures, a freewheeling new musical based on Shakespeare's Measure for Measure, is set in London in the 'swinging sixties' against a backdrop of starchy middle class morality and hypocrisy in a country on the verge of Beatlemania and the sexual and social permissiveness that we know today.

ROARING TRADE by Steve Thompson (Dr Who, Sherlock, Upstairs Downstairs), directed by Alan Cohen, begins tonight, 23 September, at Park Theatre, running through Saturday 24 October, with a press night on Wednesday 30 September.

Casting is announced today for the World Premiere of The House of Mirrors and Hearts, a new British chamber musical which will open the Summer/Autumn Season at Arcola Theatre from Thursday 2 July to Saturday 1 August, with a press night on Tuesday 7 July at 7.30pm.

Snapdragon Productions and Theatre Bench today announce the cast of Teddy will appear at Westfield London's West End Day on Sunday 17 May to exclusively perform three songs from the show 'Ready Teddy', 'Blue Without You' and 'Heartache Express'. They join the previously announced casts of Thriller Live, Let it Be and Beyond Bollywood and will perform twice at 1pm and 4pm in the Westfield Atrium.

X Factor star, Amelia Lily (playing Whatshername), will star in Green Day's explosive, award-winning Broadway musical American Idiot, as it blasts into the UK for its West End premiere from the 17 July at The Arts Theatre, Leicester Square. Running until 27 September 2015, with press night on 22 July, American Idiot - The Musical features the music of Green Day with the lyrics of its lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong, and book by Billie Joe Armstrong and Michael Mayer. The musical is being directed and choreographed by Racky Plews, with sound by Chris Whybrow, design by Sara Perks and lighting by Tim Deiling. Further casting will be announced in due course.

Snapdragon Productions and Theatre Bench announce the full cast for the world premiere of Teddy at the Southwark Playhouse.  Will Payne plays 1950s heartthrob Johnny Valentine, lead singer of rock 'n' roll band The Broken Hearts, whose blistering live performance of Dougal Irvine's songs, underscores the show.  The Broken Hearts line-up is completed by Alexander Bean, Alice Offley and Harrison White, who also takes the role of Musical Director.

Avenue Q star Julie Atherton is to play Janet in the highly anticipated Rocky Horror sequel, a role previously played by Jessica Harper in the film and made famous by Susan Sarandon in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. As well as her roles as Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut in the original London cast of Avenue Q, Atherton also starred as Sister Mary Robert in the first UK tour of Sister Act: The Musical and recently won critical acclaim in the title role inTherese Raquin at the Finborough Theatre and the Park Theatre. Her third album, Rush of Life, was released at the end of 2014.
