The Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust has granted The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center $40,000 to go toward the development of new plays at its 2010 and 2011 National Playwrights Conferences that take place every summer in at the theater in Waterford, Connecticut.

Presented by the Off-Broadway theater company, The Play Company as part of its Idea Lab series, in conjunction with Umbrage Editions, the evening will also feature brief excerpts from the playwrights' work along with an exhibition of photographs from 'In Their Company,' a series of black and white portraits by Mr. Collins that portray some of America's most distinguished playwrights.
