Queens Theatre (QT) is celebrating its 25th Anniverary with a Gala on June 2, 2014 at 6:00 pm at Queens Theatre (14 United Nations Avenue South, Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, NY 11368). The gala will honor Euripides Pelekanos who is the co-founder and CEO of Queens favorite burger spot, Bareburger.

Just last night, 'Submissions Only' co-creators Kate Wetherhead and Andrew Keenan-Bolger celebrated the songs of their hit web series at 54 Below. Under the music direction of Michael Croiter, the Submissions Only House Band, along with a number of exciting guest stars, performed a selection of music from all three seasons of the show, including original songs like 'Two Cents,' 'Wrong Spot' and 'Nobody Does Mean Like Me.'
Tom Kitt (If/Then), William Ivey Long (Bullets Over Broadway), Natasha Katz (The Glass Menagerie), Warren Carlyle (After Midnight) and Leigh Silverman (Violet) were just a few of the guests who attended the celebration for the 2014 Tony Awards® Creative Arts Nominees earlier this week at The Skylark (200 West 39th Street) in New York. The Tony Awards, hosted by Hugh Jackman, will be broadcast in a live, three-hour ceremony from Radio City Music Hall, on the CBS television network on Sunday, June 8, 2014.

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, just presented Jonathan Reid Gealt, making his solo 54 Below debut. Having performed to sold out venues around the world, this night featured favorites from his first two albums ['Thirteen Stories Down' and 'Here For You (Ballads For Broadway Impact)'], as well as a number of world premieres that will end up on Jonathan's upcoming third album as well as a number of world premieres from his musical Dust and Shadow.
Saturday night, May 3rd, after Kristin Chenoweth wowed 'em at Carnegie Hall, the star's family, friends and guests were invited to a very intimate party at New York's Palace Hotel. The famed property threw Ms. Chenoweth the congratulatory party with the Palace Hotel's Timothy Kirkpatrick, Bebhinn Gallen, Lauren Rebholz and friend Angelique O'Neil, who worked tirelessly to make her special night even more special.
TACT/The Actors Company Theatre, the critically acclaimed company voted 'Company of the Year' by The Wall Street Journal, will celebrate its 21st Anniversary of presenting 'neglected or rarely produced works of literary merit' at its annual Spring Gala tonight, April 29th at The University Club (One East 54th Street). PEN American Center announced today that acclaimed writer Colm Toibin will serve as Chairman of the PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature, beginning with next year's Festival. Founded and chaired by Salman Rushdie for a decade, the Festival brings together writers and public intellectuals from around the globe to encourage cross-cultural dialogues on issues central to individual rights and freedoms.
