Atlantic Theater Co Presents GABRIEL, Cast Led By Patricia Conolly, Lisa Emery & More

Children's Theatre Kicks Off 2009-2010 Season With BUSYTOWN 10/24-11/7

Yum! Family Series Program and Stage One: The Louisville Children's Theatre are thrilled to kick off the 2009-2010 season of theater for young audiences with the Richard Scarry classic Busytown! With over 300 children's books in his resume, Richard Scarry's books of anthropomorphic animals made him a very popular children's author.

NORTHERN LIGHTS/ SOUTHERN CROSS Opens at the Guthrie 10/24

The Guthrie will present Northern Lights/Southern Cross: Tales from the Other Side of the World, an international collaboration between Interact Theater and Australia's Tutti Ensemble, companies both comprised largely of artists with disabilities. An epic tale spanning cultures and hemispheres, acclaimed actor/playwright/storyteller Kevin Kling shares his story of personal growth and rebirth, in the production directed by Interact artistic director Jeanne Calvit, with original music by Tutti Ensemble's Pat Rix. Northern Lights/Southern Cross: Tales from the Other Side of the World will run October 22 - November 8 in the Dowling Studio.

Guthrie Theater and Walker Art Center staff will spend this weekend preparing for next week's five-day Twin Cities fall theater bonanza, highlighted by the American stage debut of Guthrie Director Joe Dowling in Brian Friel's Faith Healer, the Guthrie/Walker co-presentation of the internationally acclaimed Druid Ireland's The Walworth Farce, an accompanying In Conversation event with Dowling and Walworth playwright Enda Walsh, two high-definition NT Live filmed presentations of the U.K. National Theatre's All's Well That Ends Well, the United States premiere of Interact Theater's Northern Lights/Southern Cross: Tales from the Other Side of the World and continuing performances of the Guthrie's 'Wilde and witty' production of The Importance of Being Earnest.
