On Monday, August 1, 2011, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2011 nominees at its annual sold-out event at the Carmine Street Recreation Center located at 25 Carmine Street.

The producers of Irena's Vow, the new play by Dan Gordon, starring four-time Tony nominee, and three-time Drama Desk Award-winner Tovah Feldshuh, and directed by Michael Parva, have established a student ticket policy. Beginning today (the first preview performance), a limited number of front row tickets will be available for purchase at the box office of the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) for $25.00. Tickets are available the day of the performance when the box office opens and will require a valid student I.D. (2 tickets per I.D., cash only).

'A Brush With Georgia O'Keeffe,' a new play by Natalie Mosco, which recently concluded a successful off-Broadway run in New York, will play a special performance at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC on Saturday, November 1 at 3:00 PM. Natalie Mosco stars as famed painter Georgia O'Keeffe. There will be a meet and greet with the performers after the show.
