Due to popular demand, Steppenwolf Theatre Company has extended the world premiere comedy, The Doppelganger (an international farce) written by Matthew-Lee Erlbach (Showtime's Masters of Sex, Off-Broadway's Handbook for an American Revolutionary), through June 2 with the original cast.

Hartford Stage Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak and Managing Director Michael Stotts today announced that Jeeves & Wooster in "Perfect Nonsense," the Olivier Award-winning comedy from brothers David and Robert Goodale, will make its North American premiere at Hartford Stage during the 2018-19 season. Original director Sean Foley will return to stage the show in Hartford.

Universal Cable Productions (UCP) and Blumhouse Television today announced that Emmy(R) and Golden Globe(R) award-winner Anthony Hemingway (UNSOLVED: THE MURDERS OF TUPAC AND THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G.) is set to direct the premiere episode of USA/SYFY's upcoming series THE PURGE based on the hit film franchise. From Blumhouse Television and Universal Cable Productions, THE PURGE, which will air on USA and SYFY, and the series was created, and will be executive produced by the film franchise creator James DeMonaco, and led by Jason Blum, the entire team behind the blockbusters are on board to executive produce: Michael Bay with Brad Fuller and Andrew Form under the Platinum Dunes banner and Sebastien K. The Houston Symphony and Music Director Andr s Orozco-Estrada announced today details of the 2018-19 season, which marks Orozco-Estrada's fifth year as music director.
