Following a sold-out engagement last fall Off-Broadway, the new musical TRINKETS returns by popular demand to the stage this month with performances January 11-February 3 at the Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond St.) in Manhattan.

Playwright Paul Alexander is a NY nightlife legend most notably known for the 1990s performance art-dance party Jackie 60 where he honed his vocal emcee and performance skills. Following many solo underground dance singles he gained international success with the dance pop trio THE ONES, known for their #1 Dance/#7 Pop hit Flawless.

Fashion and nightclub icons turned out in force to celebrate the opening of their friend and colleague, Paul Alexander, and his new musical TRINKETS playing now at Gene Frankel Theater. Playwright Paul Alexander is a 'NY nightlife legend' most notably known for the 1990's performance art-dance party Jackie 60 where he honed his vocal emcee and performance skills. Following many solo underground dance singles he gained international success with the dance pop trio The Ones, known for their #1 Dance/#7 Pop hit Flawless. Trinkets, is an original musical play set in NYC during the 1990's. It tells a story of a group of drag and transsexual prostitutes, who work the streets of the meatpacking district. This fantastical story taken from reality shows a moment in the growth of the LGBT community, which is often overlooked.

Eryc Taylor Dance will present the U.S. premiere of The Exhibit, a new immersive evening of dance featuring five contemporary dance works, running for six performances, October 15 - 18, 2015 at The Alchemical Theatre Laboratory, 104 W. 14th Street, The Exhibit features five works with multiple narratives, choreographed by Eryc Taylor in collaboration with company members. The pieces will be performed consecutively in one large performance space; the standing audience will be free to move about and follow the dancers to different areas of the room to witness the pieces from various perspectives.
