On Monday, April 19, Mother and Child, a drama film directed and written by Rodrigo García premiered at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. The film, which stars Naomi Watts, Annette Bening, Kerry Washington and Shareeka Epps premiered on September 14, 2009 at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival and at the Sundance Film Festival on January 23, 2010. It is scheduled to have a limited release in the United States on May 7, 2010.

Acclaimed Tony Award nominated actor Sir Patrick Stewart will return to Broadway in David Mamet's 'A Life in the Theatre'. Stewart will portray the lead character of 'Robert', a role he previously played in the 2005 production at London's Apollo Theatre. 'A Life in the Theatre' will be directed by Neil Pepe.
