On the Twentieth Century is based on plays by Ben Hecht, Charles MacArthur & Bruce Millholland. The original Broadway production was directed by Harold Prince. According to Showbiz411, Fox is busy planning a special Halloween 2015 release of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year. Original producer Lou Adler and Kenny Ortega (High School Musical) are 'preparing a new film with outtakes from the original and lots of surprises.'
