Jonathan Payne's THE REVOLVING CYCLES TRULY AND STEADILY ROLL'D Opens Tonight

The world premiere of Jonathan Payne's The Revolving Cycles Truly and Steadily Roll'd opens tonight, on September 19 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street Project. Presented by The Playwrights Realm (Katherine Kovner, Founding Artistic Director; Roberta Pereira, Producing Director) and directed by Awoye Timpo, this is the first full production from the mordantly funny and unsparing voice of Jonathan Payne.

The Playwrights Realm (Katherine Kovner, Founding Artistic Director; Roberta Pereira, Producing Director) today announces the complete cast and creative team for the world premiere of Jonathan Payne's The Revolving Cycles Truly and Steadily Roll'd, directed by Awoye Timpo (Sept. 7-Oct. 6, at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street project).  This world premiere marks the first full production from the mordantly funny and unsparing voice of Jonathan Payne.

Len Cariou & Liz Robertson, Original Stars, Reunite in DANCE A LITTLE CLOSER Concert

Len Cariou and Liz Robertson, stars of the original Broadway production of Dance A Little Closer, the Charles Strouse and Alan Jay Lerner musical, have joined the cast of its previously announced concert adaptation, on Monday, April 16 at 7 pm at the Green Room 42. Presented in honor of composer Charles Strouse's 90th birthday by the Second Act Series, the stars will perform two songs they originated in the legendary, infamous and short-lived Broadway production. The abridged concert will also include never-before-heard songs cut during the show's workshop period.

Charles Strouse To Greet Fans And Sign Memoir At DANCE A LITTLE CLOSER Concert

As previously announced, the acclaimed Second Act Series, which has presented an array of lesser-known musicals in concert, will celebrate the short-lived Charles Strouse and Alan Jay Lerner musical Dance A Little Closer at New York's Green Room 42 on Monday, April 16th at 7:00pm. Three-time Tony Award-winning composer Charles Strouse will be on hand to meet fans and sign copies of his memoir, Put On A Happy Face, following the performance ($20 - cash only). Part of a lifelong celebration of composer Charles Strouse's 90th birthday, this special event gives audiences the rare opportunity to hear this enchanting score.

Red Bull Theater to Continue 12th Season with EVERY MAN IN HIS HUMOUR

Red Bull Theater today announced that their Twelfth Season will continue with Ben Jonson's Every Man In His Humour, directed by Carson Elrod, on Monday December 28th at 7:30 PM, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, between Bleecker and Hudson).  Featured in the cast will be Michael Countryman, Angel Desai, Carson Elrod, Korey Jackson, Claire Karpen, Craig Pattison, Matthew Saldivar, Jay O. Tony Award-winning actor Jason Alexander recently assumed the role of 'Norman Drexel' in Larry David's hit comedy Fish In the Dark, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). Alexander steps into the role created by David in the comedy about a death in the family. Tony Award-winning actor Jason Alexander returns to Broadway tonight, June 9 when he assumes the role of Norman Drexel in Larry David's hit comedy FISH IN THE DARK, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). Mr. Alexander steps into the role created by Mr. David in the comedy about a death in the family. Larry David will play his final performance in FISH IN THE DARK on Sunday, June 7. The limited engagement run of the production, originally scheduled through June 7, is extended for six weeks through Sunday, July 19.

Broadway's FISH IN THE DARK Sets Rush Policy

A $35 rush policy will be launched on Tuesday, June 9th when Tony Award-winning actor Jason Alexander assumes the role of Norman Drexel in Larry David's hit comedy Fish In the Dark, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). A limited number of rush tickets will be available the day of the performance at the box office of the Cort Theatre. The $35 rush tickets will be limited to 2 per person and will be available when the box office opens.
