Kelli O'Hara, Rebecca Luker, Jason Robert Brown & More to Perform at 2014 Lilly Awards, 6/2

This year the Lilly Awards will celebrate women of distinction in musical theater in a special cabaret at West Bank Cafe (407 W 42nd Street, NYC), following the awards ceremony, which is set for Monday, June 2, at Playwrights Horizons. The cabaret will feature Kelli O'Hara, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Rebecca Luker, Kate Baldwin, Kenita Miller, The Broadway Boys, Graham Rowat, Katie Thompson, Lauren Pritchard, Taylor Noble, Jay Armstrong Jonson, The Skivvies (Lauren Molina & Nick Cearley) and Jason Robert Brown.

Brandon Victor Dixon, Natasha Yvette Williams & More to Honor Linda Twine at Stage 72, 3/10

Some of Broadway's brightest stars will join host Colman Domingo (Tony nominee THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS, PASSING STRANGE) in a tribute to the beloved Broadway music director Linda Twine - who has served as music director for numerous shows including THE COLOR PURPLE, CAROLINE OR CHANGE, BIG RIVER and A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD - at the first-ever SINGERS ALWAYS DELIVER concert on Monday, March 10 at 7 pm at Stage 72 (158 W. 72 St.) in Manhattan.

5TH ANNUAL NEW YORK CITY CHRISTMAS: A Concert to Benefit ASTEP, is back by popular demand tonight at Joe's Pub. The evening will feature Broadway's most sought-after talent singing fresh, original approaches-pop, soul, R&B, rock and more-of holiday songs off New York City Christmas the album, available for purchase at the concert. ALL proceeds from tickets to the show and album sales go to supporting ASTEP's mission to connect performing and visual artists with underserved youth in the U.S. and around the world to awaken their imaginations, foster critical thinking, and help them break the cycle of poverty.

CABARET LIFE NYC: Director/Lyricist Peter Napolitano On Producing His Third WINTER RHYTHMS Series at Urban Stages, Dec 3-15

It may not be like getting a gift on every one of the 12 Days of Christmas, but for cabaret and musical theater lovers, the 5th Annual Urban Stages Winter Rhythms series--presented over a dozen nights at the not-for-profit Off-Broadway theatre on 259 West 30th Street--could be the closest thing to opening a daily present by the tree. From December 3-15, dozens of singers and musicians will perform in an eclectic mix of a dozen shows plus late night and matinee 'extras,' with all the proceeds from ticket sales dedicated to the Urban Stages 'On Tour Outreach Program that brings more than 200 free multicultural theater and music programs to elementary and middle school age children and their families in libraries and schools throughout NYC five boroughs.
