MOTOWN's Grasan Kingsberry to Debut SOLO:SHOWCASE at Stage 72/Triad Theater, 10/14

In a special one-night-only performance, Broadway veteran Grasan Kingsberry (Nice Work..., Catch Me If You Can, Color Purple, Aida) will debut his concertsolo:sharecase, a personal and intimate evening of jazz, soul, r&b, folk, and pop covers, on Monday, October 14th at Stage 72/Triad Theater (158 W. 72nd St., 2nd floor).

A product of conceptualizing and dreaming throughout 10 years on Broadway, solo:sharecase is "a musical concert incorporating life-lessons and stories through songs from a spectrum of artists including Prince, Neil Young, and Bill Withers. What good are gifts, music, stories, talents, even a drink, love and laughter if we don't share them? Dare to share? The world is waiting."

His sharecase band will feature musical direction by Alvin Hough, Jr. (piano), Enzo Penizzotto (bass), David Matos (guitar), and Trevor Holder (drums). Special guest artists and musicians will include Kenita Miller (Color Purple; Drama Desk Winner- Best Ensemble, Working), singer/songwriter Justin Hicks, percussionist Damien Bassman and Juilliard trumPeter Riley Mulherkar.
