This will be a reunion for Dodd and Mauzey in their roles as Elphaba and Glinda respectively, and will mark the first time the two actresses are back on stage opposite each other since they played the roles on Broadway from November 2008 - February 2009. According to a recent Twitter post from the official Wicked the Musical Twitter account, the hit show will end its San Francisco run on September 5th. The production opened at the Orpheum Theatre on February 6, 2009.

As the blockbuster musical Wicked celebrates the one-year anniversary of its San Francisco production, three of its female stars will appear for a special evening on January 25 of conversation and song at the Museum of Performance & Design (MPD). Teal Wicks (Elphaba) and Kendra Kassebaum (Glinda) will perform selections from the score, and together with Patty Duke (Madame Morrible) will discuss their experience in this new Broadway classic, back in the city where it began. The evening will be moderated by MPD Curator of Exhibitions and Programs Brad Rosenstein, and will include an opportunity for audience questions.
Michael Riedel reveals this morning that a likely Broadway-bound musical adaptation of Leap of Faith (based off of the 1992 film starring Steve Martin) had an industry reading last week starring Raul Esparza as the preacher, Sutton Foster, and Kendra Kassebaum. The musical workshop, featuring a score by Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermain composer Alan Menken and lryics by Glenn Slater, had Promises, Promises director/choreographer Rob Ashford at the helm. Janus Cercone, who authored the original screenplay also penned the musical book.
