The single, a play on the 1973 Sydney Pollack film starring Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford of the same title, featuring interpolations from the film, was featured last week on Rdio's New Music Weekly page. While Solomon has always been an open book, 'The Way We Were' blows the door wide open to his personal life and upcoming debut album.

Nelly will perform for a fundraising concert, presented by Vatterott College for only $36 per ticket. This one-night only concert benefiting the Vatterott College Scholarship Fund takes place at The Pageant, 6161 Delmar Blvd, on August 3. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

The judge's panel for the third season of The X Factor is set to be officially revealed on Monday, but TMZ is reporting that Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio are in final negotiations to join the show, replacing Britney Spears and L.A. Reid.
