Blue Note Jazz Club, the iconic Greenwich Village jazz and blues venue that offers live musical performances every night of the week, is proud to announce an impressive roster of acts this November. Each performer is scheduled for two shows per night, 8:00 pm and 10:30 pm, unless otherwise noted.

Antonio Loureiro is a man with a singular vision for his music. For the Brazilian multi-instrumentalist and singer, the magic exists in the moment, in spontaneity, where barriers between songs and instrumentals don't exist. The immortal composer/arranger/ pianist Tadd Dameron was once overheard telling his ensemble "It has to swing, sure, but it has to be beautiful." That quote could be a sub-title for composer/arranger/pianist Antonio Adolfo's brilliant new CD, Finas Misturas (fine mixtures) on AAM Music (AAM 0705). Drawing heavily on a musical history that combines his Brazilian heritage with his 40+ years in Jazz, Adolfo offers an outstanding set of four originals and six compositions by five highly notable Jazz Masters.

The final show of Live @ Benaroya Hall's successful inaugural season is quickly approaching (tickets to The Monkees on August 17 at 8pm, are still available) and Benaroya Hall preps for a stellar sophomore season. Tickets for Chris Cornell and Makana will go on sale at 10am on Friday August 16. All other concert tickets are on sale now. In addition to the seven concerts listed above, more will be added as the season continues on through June of 2014. Information on additional shows will be released as it becomes available.

The Music Box shows off the full power of its newly remodeled, state-of-the-art second screening room ("The Mini-Music Box") with MusicEmotion: Syphony in Cinema, a series of captured live musical matinees broadcast from Milan's renowned La Scala opera house for an Old World musical experience in high definition. First up: an open-air Verdiconcert, including his first hit opera Nabucco, staged at Austria's St. Margarethen Opera Festival.
