The Harold Clurman Lab Theater, the professional wing of the Art of Acting Studio Los Angeles, is proud to announce its next production, William Shakespeare's Macbeth. Macbeth will open on June 19th, 2015, and will star Emmy Winner Daniel Kucan in the title role. Macbeth will be directed by Ovation - nominated actor and designer, Michael Keith Allen.

Hollywood's exciting and talented new charity-?based play reading series, The Spare Change Series, will be presenting their next staged reading of Noel Coward's 'Design for Living' to benefit The Make-A-Wish Foundation. The production will take place on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 7pm at the Art of Acting Studio, located at 1017 N. Orange Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90038. The entire evening will be donation based, and all proceeds will be given to Make-A-Wish.

Hale Center Theater Orem will produce "In the Heights" from October 3 - Nov 23. In the Heights tells the universal story of a vibrant community in New York's Washington Heights neighborhood - a place where the neighbors you meet at the corner bodega (grocery) feel like family, the windows are always open and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It's a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind. In the Heights is the winner of the 2008 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Score, Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations. This production is the semi-professional Utah premiere.

The evening was hosted by Andrew Kober and Danielle Wade. Andrew Kober made his Broadway debut in the 2009 Tony Award winning revival of Hair after originating the roles of Father and Margaret Mead in the Shakespeare in the Park production. He also played the roles in the West End revival in 2010. He has also appeared on television in 'Boardwalk Empire,' 'Pan Am' and 'House of Cards.'
Carner & Gregor's BARELY LEGAL SHOWTUNE EXTRAVAGANZA Returns to NYC Tonight

Carner and Gregor have announced the winners of the BARELY LEGAL SHOWTUNE EXTRAVAGANZA V casting contest. Eight winners were selected from over 100 submissions received from college students around the country. Winners were selected by a four-person judging panel comprised of Casting Directors Michael Cassara and Jason Najjoum, Concert Director Marlo Hunter, and Concert Producer Alina Gutierrez. Carner and Gregor were not involved in the judging process. After four sold-out editions, Carner & Gregor's BARELY LEGAL SHOWTUNE EXTRAVAGANZA is back for its fifth year. The concert will take place Today, August 5th at (le) Poisson Rouge. Showtime is 8PM. Doors open at 7PM.

It was theatre magic at its best: rain lightly came down on closing night as the entire cast of LES MISERABLES at The Muny belted out 'The Epilogue' one more time. The audience lept to their feet as the final notes hung in the air. All week long, The Muny experienced a complete standing ovation before the curtain call began, something that Muny goers said hasn't happened in at least 35 years. The cast of LES MISERABLES experienced the audience's appreciation all week long and their final performance was no exception.
